More information about this house sitter

I am a caring private language teacher from France and my girlfriend is a British phd student in Environmental Sciences. I have lived in the UK for 7 years and am very fond of English culture, and speak English to native-speaker level.
We have had extensive experience taking care of other people's homes while they are away, having had to housesit for acquaintances across Europe and occasionally take care of their pets. We love animals. I grew up with a bright, bubbly German shepherd crossbreed called Prisca as well as my tame, trained budgerigars Bulle and Nemo, and Susannah is lucky enough to still be able to enjoy the company of her good friend George, a cheeky, petulant Airedale Terrier who loves food and long walks. She also has expertise in caring for rabbits and would enjoy the throwback to her childhood rabbit Bobtail. I am also very fond of cats and I love sitting for them and seeing the relationship with them evolve over time. I have particularly lovely memories of sitting for my aunt's Chartreux cat Taylor, who would compensate for his usual sternness with sudden outbursts of affection. Finally, we have both helped friends on their farms in Scotland with sheep (including a memorable lambing season) and cows.
We are both extremely considerate, clean, discreet and I am sure we will be able to take care of your house and pets to the high standard you expect. And we also thoroughly enjoy gardening. We have special expertise in caring for vegetables, but we will be happy to use all our knowledge and attention to maintain any plant you would like. You can be sure we will love taking care of your house and animals!

We both have full UK licenses and can housesit for you with a car if necessary. We can provide short references upon request. Read more...
