Hello pet-parents and home-owners, I am Laura and have been house-sitting across Europe and my native country England for many years. I am single, non-smoker, very tidy, non-party person, quiet, private, vegetarian. I have a degree in music, become a teacher and took a year sabbatical for studies abroad this past year. I have an Enhanced DBS, have a car and full-driver’s license.

I am currently based in East Midlands, looking for an opportunity to house-sit to see new areas of the country and make new feline and canine friends and their families…!

Last summer I completed a house-sitting assignment in the Swedish countryside caring for a farm, cows and the farmhouse. I am used to solitude and equally happy and experienced in lively cities including Munich...! My last house-sitting assignment was in the heart of Barcelona...!

I have been fortunate to meet a lot of pets and lovely owners, most have become friends. Prior to 2024 I house-sat between 2016-2018 intensely. I have made a list of all my assignments for you...

*I began looking after two cats for a month in Shrewsbury.
*I have had a two-month assignment in London looking after an elderly feline and indoor cats. I have litter tray experience and experience with medications.
*I have had a lovely assignment for a month in Herne Bay looking after two felines.
*I have house-sat for a Siamese cat in Munich for three weeks.
*I have had an assignment in Grendon Northamptonshire for six months looking after a cottage during it’s sale.
*An assignment in Bozeat Northampton for a month.
*Another in North London for a puppy and two indoor cats.
*An assignment in London looking after thirteen cats during summer.
*An assignment in Bath with a kitten at Christmas for a month whilst the owner journeyed to New Zealand.
*Another Christmas assignment in Flitwick keeping a home secure for two months.
*I have looked after a shy cat in Aylesbury for a month during spring.
*A two-week assignment most recently for a lovely family in East Sussex and a beautiful feline whilst they visited Turkey.

I have also Woofed (Working on Organic Farms) in both Cornwall and Norfolk.

I can bring peace of mind that your home and pets are being looked after with the upmost care. I will communicate with you throughout your trip as you wish.
