I’m a professional writer, broadcaster and animal lover looking for new places to explore and write.

I’m a dog owner (Norbert, a wonderful 7 year old cocker spaniel) available for quiet time away from my home-looking after yours (my husband will look after Norbert while I’m away!) I am a non-smoker & my only bad habit is buying too many books..

I have a PhD, am a former professional radio journalist, pop up on Radio 4 occasionally, love swimming outside and will take good care of your pets and house.

Based in North Yorkshire, happy to travel all over in my Fiat 500! I can provide references and have an up to date DBS (I quite often run poetry workshops in schools).

I am new to house sitting via websites, but have realised it will be very compatible with being a writer who needs some time alone in a new environment.
