I am a quiet, sensible person, organised, reliable and tidy. My family have had 1 or 2 cats at a time for over 40 years, our latest cat being an intelligent and quite feisty tabby called Theo (a girl). Theo, a semi feral rescue cat, came to us at 9 weeks old, having lost her mum to a road accident at an early age. A favourite moment from Theo's kitten hood was helping her learn how to get down from trees.
I will give your pets lots of affection and cuddles, play with and talk to them or just keep them company if they prefer.
I have nursed poorly animals and can give tablet medication when required. I have also looked after a cat who is blind in one eye, and am happy to care for other cats with additional needs.
I like gardening and have my own transport, so am happy to cat sit (or other small pets including rabbits and Aqua Dragons), water plants, keep your house clean and tidy and run any errands you might need while you are away.
I have looked after a friend's house and her cat and have a reference from her, as well as a reference from a previous pet sitting assignment.
I am a National Trust volunteer, doing room guiding, bookshop sales, admin and even selling Christmas trees, so am fairly adaptable if anything needs dealing with while you are away.
I have worked for civil service and police (in admin and finance) in recent years, passing their vetting processes and also have a recent DBS check.
I have had my flu vaccine, pneumonia vaccine and all Covid jabs available to me.
I don't use social media apart from the minimum needed on Facebook to look at local news and information, so you won't find pictures of your house or anything else that might suggest you are not at home.
You can rest assured that I will take good care of your pet and home while you enjoy your trip away.
Please note that I prefer no more than 3 cats, and for the present, bookings of no longer than a week to ten days.
