I am a recently retired single person, who loves to travel. I was born and grew up in UK and got the travel bug when I was in my late teens. I have worked in 5 different countries, and I currently live in Australia. I have house-sitters looking after my dog and my home when I travel myself. I was apprehensive when I first used house-sitting services (Mind-a-Home & Aussie House Sitters, Australia), but it has been fantastic! I have now used 6 different sitters. This means of course, that I have a very good understanding of what it is like to let a stranger into your home to take care of your pets and property. I am spending 3 months in UK (June -Sep 2026) and I would love to do some house sitting whilst there, so I can see some more of the country which I grew up in (as a visitor this time). I lived on a farm for 4 years in England. I will be missing my beautiful rescue dog while I am away, so looking after someone else's pets would be wonderful for me. I am an animal lover, especially dogs and horses. I owned my own horses when I was young and still love to ride when I can. I have fostered numerous dogs and still volunteer with a dog rescue group. I am very fit and I exercise 365 days a year, so exercising your pets would be a pleasure. I don't have any reviews yet as I've just joined, but I can provide some reviews about me as a homeowner, using the service. I can also provide Police Clearance. I would be happy to have a video call with you, so you can meet me (albeit over the internet and not in person). I am very houseproud, and a kind and respectful person. I will look after your home and pets as if they were my own. Available from 24th June-2nd September. I have some commitments whilst in UK, which I have blocked out on the bookings calendar.
