More information about this house sitter
Hi, I am Lynne & my husband, Stewart, we are an“early” retired couple and we would love to care for your dogs & home whilst you are away. Friendly, trustworthy & reliable we would care for your home and pets like they are our own.
I grew up with dogs and we have had our own little dog for 5 years now. We love the countryside, the beach and like to walk. We have dog sat in our own home and in Spain for friends & family (References available).
I groom my own little cavapoochon, Veah, so are used to caring for poodlecross type coats - you won’t come home to a matted, sticky eyed mess. We prefer to care for tiny to medium sized dogs.
Stewart is particularly good at watering plants,
Walking dogs and poo picking!
We have lots of availability, and can be ready to go at short notice, we have our own transport. We are open to any length of stay but if you are more than a 2 hour drive away from our home in Leicestershire we would prefer a minimum of one week.
As I mentioned before we have a little (non shedding), well behaved dog, Veah, who loves people and other dogs. She would need to come with us so if you think your own beloved dog/s would like a 4 legged companion around please consider us.
Our dog is definitely part of our family, we rarely leave her and prefer take her out with us wherever we go. Your dog would be treated the same if they are able. I know some elderly dogs prefer to stay home and if this is the case we would not leave your dog alone any longer than you do - or want us to.
Veah is very good with other small/medium sized dogs and is very quick to recognise when an older/timid dog does not want to be bothered and respects their space. She will not crowd them or jump on them, she is usually smaller than most dogs. Veah is also very flexible and so is happy to fit in with your dogs daily routine. Read more...
