I grew up in Scotland, Aberdeenshire. Emigrated to Australia in 1984 and have lived there ever since. Over the years I made many trips back to Scotland with my 2 children, the only grandchildren for Scottish grandparents. I loved coming back to my home country and meeting old friends and family, appreciating the history and the countryside.
I trained as a nurse in Australia and worked in the hospital and community settings for many years until retiring in 2022.
My family home in Scotland is gone now, so looking after other peoples homes and pets while I catch up with friends and enjoy the country is a win-win situation.
I am fit and healthy. I enjoy going on nature walks in the hills, forests. Gardening, pushbike riding and reading a good novel keeps me happy.
I don't have any pets of my own now but I have been looking after other peoples pets here for a while now. I like dogs, cats, farm animals.
I am a non smoker, have a British driving license.
I am looking at May, June, July, August 2026 as possible months to travel to Scotland .
