I am a quiet and trustworthy retiree who has quite managed to sit still — there is just more to still do and see. I now call Rockhampton, Queensland, home where I am close to my daughter and her family, I have always embraced the adventure of new places. Travelling through the UK allows me to spend time near my son and his family in London,pet/housesitting is the perfect way to explore while feeling at home. I consider myself responsible, self-sufficient, and very comfortable making decisions independently. I am pet-free at the moment, which means I look forward to sharing yours just for a short time. Reading and a coffee picked up from a local café are my daily pleassures. I genuinely love discovering the character of a new neighbourhood at my own pace and having your fur babies to introduce me around the neighbourhood makes it all the better.
A few of my previous house/pet sitting appointments were in Canberra, looking after 2 Siamese cats, one that required regular medication. Two dogs that still enjoyed their morning walk, even when it was -3 degrees. A pregnant dog, who luckily delivered her babies a couple of weeks after I left. Two very spoilt and adoreable Burmese cats, one of which continued trying to escape, whenever I wasn't looking - so many pets all different personalities - a joy.
