More information about this house sitter

Hello!
I live in Orkney, Nothern Islands of Scotland. During the "season", I have in the past, been an Airbnb host welcoming guests from around the world to our home, such a joy to meet people, learn something of their life and travel experiences.

Until recently I traveled with my dear Grace an English Springer Spaniel sadly her life has come to a peaceful end, I miss her terribly.

I maintain your standard of cleanliness, enjoy a little gardening and make sure everything functions well during your time away from home.

I have led a nomadic life having been married in to the Royal Air Force for a number of years. I have lived in Orkney for six years. House and pet sitting takes us around the UK we are booking return visits to clients to care for their pets, building a good rapport with them and some local communities.

I am a fit, responsible, reliable, trustworthy and articulate independent single woman of a certain age! I have experience of House and pet sitting, one of the best being ten weeks in Abergavenny, followed by return visits until the clients relocated. Now I enjoy returning to regular clients throughout the UK.

During April I completed a 202.4 mile walking challenge for charity. Sometimes accompanied by my friend’s dogs.

In the past I regularly walked a lively, lovable, crazy Cocker Pup for a year and have cared for up to five dogs, four cats and fish in one household. My son's ancient Staffie and Jack Russell were daily in my care until they sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. He has recently adopted a super little Lurcher who loved to play with Grace. I walk a friend’s greyhound on a rota basis and for a while a lovely Beagle living locally. I sometimes take a Sprocker.

I have provided pre school years of Grannie care for my Grandson however, now that he is in school Grannie is free to roam. I have assignments booked.

I love to travel, to experience life in different locations, meet super people, take great care of their pets and home. My experience is primarily with cats, dogs and small furries, Having had the joyful experience of inheriting a bi-lingual (English and Swahili) African Grey Parrot I am competent with feathered friends too.

Consider the opportunity of welcoming me in to your home to care for your much loved pets and home. I enjoy assignments throughout the UK to explore a new area, visit family and friends if location allows and experience life in a different region.
