I’m a solo sitter, an active self funded retiree. I am a respectful, clean and tidy home and pet sitter from Australia.

I love to travel Australia’s vast land in my caravan and taking overseas trips and mixing it up with house, flat, apartment, penthouse, farm/let, small acreage, pet and plant sits. My home is in Dickson, Canberra, Australia

I have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren.

We did our first house sit in Canberra while owners were o/seas - (see feedback). Sadly in late 2022 Jackie succumbed to cancer and passed away, hence I am now a solo sitter.

I love animals having had many dogs (3 Maltese Shitzus and a Jack Russell, now deceased), cats George a British Blue and Puzzy a moggie, (both now deceased), birds, guinea pigs, chooks, fish, alpacas, bore goats, bees, the menagerie over the years with our children and at our country farmlet.

I live a quiet lifestyle and take pride in caring for homes and animals with consistency, respect, and attention to detail. I understand how important it is for owners to feel comfortable leaving their home and pets in capable hands. Long sits preferred of at least 2 weeks or more, but open to shorter 1 week sits if preferred.

I'm passionate about providing care for pets and animals who need company. I understand the importance of routine and consistency, and I'll treat your pets with the love and respect they deserve, as their unconditional love is given in return.

I am an avid walker and happy to take your dog/s or cats (if they prefer) for walks if that is their routine.

I grew up on a 2,500 acre farm near Young NSW Australia and am familiar with animal husbandry and the care of animals. We had sheep, cattle, pigs, horses, chooks, ducks, geese, sheepdogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs and our closest companions corgis and fox terriers.

We had had our own 7 acre hobby farm in Bowning NSW Australia for 6 years where we went for weekends and during the week outside of Canberra.

We had alpacas, boar goats and mixed poultry and a 100 mixed fruit tree orchard which we planted out and bees in hives for pollination and honey.

I am a quiet and respectful person, but like a chat, non smoking, non drinker, but enjoy a glass of red now and then.

I will take excellent care of your home, garden, plants, pets and animals. I take great pride in keeping a home clean and tidy, just like my own.

I am a keen and active gardener, vege grower, a bonsai enthusiast, like walking, reading and bike riding and a sudoku and crossword fan. I am very involved in my adult children’s and 7 grandchildren’s lives, probably a lot less in the past 4 years as I’ve been doing a lot of international and domestic travel, but they know I am there when they need me, since Jackie passed away.

I’m hoping to come to Great Britain in 2027 and continue researching my family heritage and to do house and pet sits.
