Kia ora,

I'm a New Zealander, currently living and working in the United Kingdom. I finished an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Politics at the University of Auckland at the end of 2025, and then spent a few months working to save up for travel. I left NZ in May this year, spent some time in Europe, and am now really enjoying living in Scotland, where my family heritage harks back to.

At the end of my degree I was awarded a full senior scholars scholarship for another year of study upon my return to New Zealand. I am really interested in continuing my education in ether psychology or creative writing, however I am looking to gain some freedom and life experience before deciding for certain what to pursue.

I got my first job at BurgerFuel (a burger restaurant in NZ) when I was 15, and worked with the company until the end of my degree. I have also had jobs at a laundry factory, waitressing, tutoring, housekeeping, and gardening over summers when I have had more time on my hands. I have had experience looking after the homes of family members, which I can definitely admit is a little different than taking care of the home of someone you have never met, but my personality is well suited to caring for homes!

I have a strong sense of responsibility and value early and clear communication. I live quite a quiet lifestyle when I have the opportunity. I love to read, to draw, and to write in my spare time. When based in the city, I will venture out to find Scottish Country Dance clubs in my area, but other than that intend to stay put and spend lots of time working on my own writing projects. I'm looking forward to just soaking up the Scottish Winter over the coming months (I have never seen snow before, and the idea of a winter Christmas is very exciting to me). I love working in the garden, so would be happy to do any unpaid jobs around the property if asked.
