More information about this house sitter

We are a family of four. We home school our 2 children (8 and 5 yrs) which allows flexibility. This also means we are available a great deal for your pets. Our children are lovely with animals and very respectful of their environment.

We also have experience with a wide variety of pets; they would be well looked after and very loved.

I (Sarah) home educate and am a qualified teacher and Physiotherapist. Dave is a qualified Chef and a Marine Biologist. We had both been working, till recently, as Building Managers for a high class 40 apartment building in the centre of Brisbane. This included care of the grounds, buildings and swimming pool. We also held keys for the owners and were in charge of allowing tradesmen access when required when owners could not be home. So your home would be in very experienced hands with us.

We have now returned to the UK and are available for house sits. We have lots of great house sit references (1 on this site and many on other sites). We have plenty of house sitting experience from all over the world. We have just completed a house sit on this site in the Clent Hills looking after 3 wonderful dogs and a very adorable cat - we miss them!

Why we want to house sit
We enjoy both house sitting and pet sitting. We love to travel to new house sits; look after pets, meet new people and experience new places. We are animal lovers with no pets of our own at the moment, so Pet sitting also allows us to give that love!

We home school so are very flexible and this makes house sitting an ideal opportunity for us.

We enjoy keeping a house clean and tidy and enjoy the outdoors and gardening.

We have lots of great house sit references and plenty of house sitting experience from all over the world. We have looked after a wide variety of animals including; cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, lizard, chickens, ducks, rats, hamsters, birds, gerbils, horses sheep and cows. We are always happy to learn something new.

Re: Housesitting Reference Brisbane – Dave & Sarah
Dave, Sarah and their two children housesat for us over the 2018 Christmas period for 
4 weeks while we travelled overseas. They took care of our much loved Moodle, 2 
guinea pigs, bearded dragon and of course our newly renovated house, lawns and pool. 
The handover to them was very easy, as they arrived before we left for the airport and we departed without any concerns. Our kids especially loved that they kept in contact regularly with updates on how the pets were going, including photos of our fur-baby whom we all missed very much. 
On our return the house was looking great, lawns were healthy and mown and the pool 
sparkling. Our puppy made it clear that she was very fond of her stand-in family, and 
we could tell that she missed them when it was time to go. 
We have been very happy with the whole housesit arrangement with Dave and Sarah 
and couldn’t have asked for a more positive first housesit experience. We would highly 
recommend them to anyone considering entrusting them to take care of their home and pets.

Sarah,Dave, Lily and Asher sat for us for just over a month and were absolutely fantastic. Sable (our German Shepherd) and Fred (our cat) formed a real bond with them. They kept in touch with us regularly sending photos of Sable and Fred and let us know how they were doing which was a huge peace of mind for us. They also looked after our aquarium of fish as well. The house was spotless on our return and they very kindly bought in some supplies for us which was a lovely thought. It was Sables birthday whilst we were away and there are homemade cards here from the children to Sable, so thoughtful. We also had pictures done for us of the house and animals as a welcome home from the children also. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sarah,Dave, Lily and Asher to housesit and we are hoping they may be available next time we go away! Thank you. Read more...
