Hello,

I am a traveler originally from Michigan, USA, now exploring the beautiful UK, researching my family tree/genealogy and writing a travel memoir. In my hometown I have worked as a professional, paid house/pet sitter, but now it helps me to have accommodation as I travel, so I am willing to do unpaid house/pet sitting (but groceries and transportation cover gratefully accepted, if offered). However, you can be assured that you will still be receiving professional quality attention to detail, including:

-- Feeding and medication given at routine times, including preparation of special diets (raw, etc)
-- Pet access to water at all times
-- Long (1-2 hours) walks through beautiful natural areas (fields, beaches, whatever is local to you) daily
-- Daily cleaning of pet waste
-- Pet cuddles
-- Light pet grooming (brushing and occasional hair trimming if needed)
-- Daily video and picture updates

In addition, I also care for the home, including watering plants, collecting mail, putting out trash/recycling/compost, and whatever other requirements the homeowner may have. I also believe in leaving every place better than I found it, and sometimes will take on a light organization or decor project if feeling inspired. Homeowners always come back to a clean home, without dishes in the sink.

I have contacts for references available should you wish to speak to my past clients, and I also have years or experience renting my own apartment and working in full-time and part-time employment if you would like to speak with those references as well.

I prefer to arrive a day early, if possible, to leave room for any travel delays as well as to get acquainted with the pets and home routines before the homeowner leaves.

I find traveling with house/pet sitting to be a wonderful way to meet new people and explore new locations, while still feeling "at home", so thank you for your wonderful hospitality and trusting your fur family and home to my care!
