I'm a 60-year-old retired chef, and my husband is 74 and also retired. Over the years, we've lived in many different countries across Europe, and have always taken a lot of pride in our homes. We recently have been running our own Airbnb in France, and we keep gardens thriving, and handle the everyday upkeep a house needs — watering, cleaning, fixes, generally making sure that a place is cared for.

Animals are a particular passion of mine. I've rescued senior dogs for the past 20 years and have been affectionately called "the dog whisperer" — older, more nervous, or less conventional animals tend to bring out the best in me, and I genuinely love the responsibility of caring for them.

We're currently based in the UK, in the process of selling our home in France, while also supporting my husband through a health matter. We're looking for a warm, mutually beneficial arrangement — a safe, comfortable place to stay in exchange for attentive, experienced care of a home, garden, and any animals in it.
