More information about this house sitter

We are recently retired and active professionals. We live in South East London and have just down sized to a smaller house and garden which needs major refurbishment starting in January 2019 and lasting for approx. six months. We are looking for 2/3house sitting situations of several weeks each which we will juggle round staying with friends and family and holidays. We have lots of flexibility round dates.
We are non smokers: we enjoy walking and cycling and visiting the theatre and cinema.We ae keen to explore different parts of the country and have two cars. Although we are Londoners we like spending time in our house in very rural France.
We have had numerous cats and smaller pets in our time and enjoyed looking after them.We have no experience of dogs.
Home sitting arrangements within two hours travelling of south east London would be ideal as although we are in no way project managing our building works we would like to be able to keep in touch with any developments.
