Hi all! My name is Rachel, and myself and my husband Chris are currently looking to explore the UK before we move there next year. We really want to get to know the country better, and all of your beautiful homes and pets are just an added bonus in what will certainly be an amazing travel experience.

About us- I am a jack-of-all-trades writer and artist. I’ve been freelance writing for twelve years on and off, and most recently worked at GeorgeTakei dot com. I also paint, collage, make jewelry, and create cool witchy products for people. I vend my crafts and antiques at my local flea market here in Rhode Island, along with my husband, who sells board games.

My husband is a software admin at a bank with a huge creative side. He can build anything and everything, and is one of those people who is just automatically good at anything he puts his mind to. He enjoys making model cars (he just finished a one-eighth scale DeLorean from Back to the Future!), cooking, horror movies, and all things nerdy.

Both of us are cat people. We have four cats at home- two of them are ours, and the other two are our roommates. We’re also a big fan of dogs despite not having one of our own.

Chris and I are aiming to move to the UK in 2023. Before then, we want to make sure we have a trip where we see as much as possible. We’re so excited to come visit, and help you guys out along the way. Read more...
