Prone to singing to myself and falling in love with every animal I see, I am a young (?!) nearly 40 year old looking for peaceful time away - house sitting and pet sitting, watering gardens and in general lovingly looking after your home as if it were my own.

Formerly a music teacher and also equestrian nut, I grew up on a farm with ponies, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks. The cats were always allowed to sneak in through my window for cuddles, and I probably would have had my pony in as well if given the chance! The outdoor farm life also gave me a lot of grounded common sense with animals, and plenty of ‘emergencies’ to calmly deal with.

I have been full time house and pet sitting since July 2019 and it has afforded me the wonderful opportunity to spend time in lovely homes, exploring new areas and enjoying peoples wonderful pets after being back with the folks for a couple of years recovering from M.E. (The Chrysalis Effect are a wonderful specialist recovery team online if anyone needs them!)

I take care of a home as if it were my own, I am tidy and conscientious, and putting the animals first with their routines and needs is second nature to me. I can pester you daily with videos and photos of your pets, although some owners prefer just a couple times a week - whatever suits you.
My current health is so massively improved I can comfortably do dog walking twice a day of 20 - 40 minutes each and ummer field work/checks with larger animals (such as the Alpacas at my current sit!). I cannot offer stable work at this time, or lengthy turn out/in of horses.
It is such a vulnerable thing having a stranger in your home and looking after your treasured pets, so do ask me anything you need to know. References available on request.
