I'm a working professional experienced in house sitting with pets and livestock. I work online so I'm able to look after your home without being gone for long periods of the day.

I've been house sitting since 2018 and had many happy home owners with whom I've made genuine long-term friendships with!

I am clean, low maintenance, don't smoke, and being in my 40s I know how to look after a house! I do like being a homebody and would be a best fit for looking after a traditional English home.

Being a financially independent, I also don't require a fee. I'm looking for a mid-to-long term sitting to really appreciate the area of the country.

I'm very active and attentive to an animal's needs, and experienced with livestock too (chickens, sheep, horses).

In fact, I love pets of all kinds (and people of course!). I will keep your mind at ease with pictures and videos of your animals while you are away. They always have a loving time with me!

The first thing I noticed is how much cleaner the house was that when we left! Sam took took care of our livestock and the bed sheets were washed and laid back onto the bed which was extremely thoughtful of him. Thoroughly recommended.

We have an energetic 2 month old puppy who is a serial biter and not yet fully toilet trained but Sam calmly took care of everything while we were away without a single word of complaint and when we came back the house was spic and span. Would recommend.

On this occasion, we asked Sam directly if he was available to come and housesit for us while we were away for a couple of weeks and we were delighted that he accepted. Hopefully, it speaks for itself that we asked Sam to come back a second time. My cleaning lady commented on how clean and tidy he kept the house but, more importantly, we knew that Lulu was in good hands and a happy dog! Thank you, Sam.

We are so grateful that Sam was able to help us out at short notice. He is everything you could want in a Housesitter. The dogs and cats were well looked after and happy, the house was clean and tidy when we got home, and Sam was a pleasure to spend time with before we left. He also kept in touch while we were away so that we knew everything was fine at home. Sam arrived early to avoid travel delays and agreed to stay on for an extra night when we had the opportunity to stay on rather than travelling back late into the night. We would happily recommend Sam for house sitting and would be happy to have him look after our animals and home again. Thank you Sam.

We asked Sam to site for us again as it was such a success last time. Once again the house was spotless and our dogs had a great time with him. Not only that, our pond pump jammed and Sam fixed it himself by his own initiative, which saved us on a costly fix job. He needs no hand holding which really takes the stress out of things for us. We will definitely continue to ask Sam back to look after our home and would recommend him to anybody.

Thank you so much to Sam for looking after our dogs so beautifully whilst we were away.
Sam is a very gentle, calm and kind person who left our home looking immaculate on our return, and our beloved dogs were calm and happy and had obviously been well looked after. He communicated with us well, so we could sit back and relax, knowing everything was under control.

It was easy to communicate with Sam in the weeks prior to the house sit. He arrived, as arranged, the day before our departure, bonded immediately with Lulu, our dog, and quickly understood the quirks and eccentricities of an old house, and was charming company. While we were away, he kept in touch but very unobtrusively. We came home after three weeks’ away to a happy dog, a happy house, food in the fridge and flowers on the table. Thank you, Sam!

He is a delightful quiet and kind person, kept us updated on how things were at home and delighted our cockerpoo by playing endless games of football in the garden. Sam looks after our small mixed breed dog Rolo for a week in October every year. Rolo is reluctant to leave when we pick him up because he loves spending time with Sam and loves his walks to Richmond Park.

Sam takes particular care to find out about Rolo’s routines and likes and dislikes to make sure he meets his needs. He keeps us up to date when we call and is happy to ask us if there’s anything he’s not sure about.
