I am a 63 year old retired nurse/midwife, now working as an author.I live in East Devon and enjoy the countryside, animals, cooking and keeping any space clean and homely.I have an elderly cat and have always had one. As well as being mother to 3 adult children, I kept hens, a dog, ducks and bees in the past.I love to travel and see new places. I worked as a country cousin and have done many live-in jobs so am adaptable and can find my way in a strange place.
My friend Peter (70) is a quiet retired gentleman, having worked in Local Government. He is hugely sensitive to animals, having had both cats and dogs, and likes peace and warmth.We spend most of our time together, but live separately.
We would like to help others, and spend some 'holiday' time enjoying other parts of the country.
