More information about this house sitter

Currently a full time writer at the Natural History Museum, I have a fascination for the natural world, including plants and animals.

I am also a qualified media studies and English teacher and spent the past ten years working in both formal and informal education. I am a creative person who loves learning and exploring new things in life.

Coming from a big family and being the third oldest, responsibility is nothing new to me. I am able to cook and clean for myself, take care of children/teenagers and use my common sense and creative thinking skills for problem solving. I have never had a pet although I do love cats. I travelled through south east Asia Nov 2017- Feb 2018 and did a couple of voluntary placements via work away, including spending ten days house sitting and looking after two gorgeous cats in KL, Malaysia.

I drive and own a car, want to travel some more and see the world and have good conversations with genuine people. I'm not a huge party person and often prefer to spend my evenings indoors, either reading a really good book, watching a film or editing on my laptop with a cup of tea.

I am originally from London and work there so looking for long term house sitting opportunities in the city. I have also been to Wales a couple of times and have fallen in love with the landscapes so happy to travel up there for a short while. I am looking for house sitting opportunities that range from one week to a year. I would also love to explore Ireland and Scotland and the rest of the world so if you have a house abroad, I am more than happy to consider house sitting there too.
