More information about this house sitter

My husband Tam and I are extremely active, working, exercising and engaged beyond retirement age. Tam and I have had many years of experience looking after our own cats, dogs and gold fish and we'd bring our sense of responsibility and commitment to caring for your home and your pets. These days we're pet grandparents to Baba, an energetic springer spaniel, and Rafi, a miniature long-haired dachshund. On weekends we join the children and grandchildren exercising the dogs on Hampstead Heath, our favourite local park and other lovely parks in north London. The dogs also come to stay when the children visit, sleep over or go on holiday.

Our first family pet was a red setter, whom I exercised daily - along with the children, (I'm not sure who ran further, children or dogs). Latterly we had a miniature long haired dachshund who also enjoyed long walks, lots of play and tagging along in the car. Over the past 19 years we had three cats, all very different, who ruled the roost and whom we adored. You'll see Chino, our mongrel Siamese on the attached picture.

We'd love to help look after your pets now.

Alongside living with and caring for animals, we enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, walking and swimming.

I work remotely, currently developing a podcast portal around the history of Fleet Street, which we expect to launch soon, so I'll be around most of the time to care for and love your pets and your home. Tam is an entrepreneur and publisher. He loves animals and helps with cuddles, exercise, feeding and litter trays.

At this time we're looking for a series of longer sits between April to mid August if at all possible. We're happy to provide lots more information as needed. Read more...
