More information about this house sitter

We are a mature professional British couple who have been traveling around Spain, Portugal & Bulgaria for the last 4 years.

Fortunately, all we need to work is a laptop and good wifi. I guess you could call us digital nomads! We both own properties in the UK which we air b&b or rent out privately. We are very sporty, outdoor people with a particular love of wakeboarding in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. We initially left the UK only for a few months but then got the bug and kept going!

We have had an incredible time, meeting new people, trying new things, living in beautiful landscapes. In March this year as a result of COVID 19 we had no choice but to return to the UK. We were planning to return this summer anyway so it wasn't a problem. We are currently staying with friends in a massive house near Nottingham. The household includes 3 dogs, 1 cat and a grandma. It's in the middle of the countryside which we love, so long, windy walks with the dogs have been our joy over the lockdown period. We are not sure where we want to finally settle but are clear that it won't be a City. Our City days are behind us now! Housesitting gives us the opportunity to experience different places, meet new people and spend time with dogs and cats which we love. As soon as we have a permanent place we will be heading straight to the local rescue charity. Read more...
