Hello,

I'm a non-smoking UK citizen from Irish stock, my base is in both Watford and rural Galway, Ireland where I used to have pigs, goats, chickens and cats. I've worked in various office jobs such as a personal assistant, shipping manager and a buyer for Johnson Diversity etc... I was also a volunteer committee member for the Multiple Sclerosis Society for fourteen months.

I love travelling and have been exploring the world on my bicycle over the last three and a half years and would love the opportunity to look after your home and pets.

I have twenty past house sitting/pet sitting references some of which are repeated sits (contact details available on request) via another housesitting organization in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. I have a police check certificate from the UK and Ireland. I'm currently based in Watford.

Elizabeth house sat for us in August/September 2014. She was left in charge of our three bedroom home and our two, much loved dogs. We came home three weeks later to find a spotless house and two very spoilt and well entertained dogs, who I suspect were miffed that we even had the audacity to return. They had become much used to being in the spotlight on a daily basis. They were well groomed, well fed and very well amused and obviously had developed a fantastic relationship with Elizabeth.
Elizabeth is a warm, generous person with a high sense of responsibility. Her solo travels around the world have helped form her into a self-assured and independent thinker who is happy to step into a routine and role with confidence and make it work for herself and her charges. She is extremely trustworthy and we had no qualms about allowing her to use our car. She also communicated with us on a near daily basis, via email and Facebook to keep us updated on the dogs and to ask any questions she had regarding the household operation. Our holiday was much more relaxed knowing that any concerns would be handed responsibly and in a timely manner.
We would highly recommend Elizabeth as a house sitter and would welcome her back into our home with open arms.

This reference is in relation to Elizabeth
Elizabeth house sat for us in June/July 2015 for 2 weeks and Paul, Elizabeth partner for part of the time. She looked after our home and our two, very special and much loved cats, also our goldfish.
When we arrived home two weeks later, our home was in an immaculate condition. The washing was on the clothes line, housework all done, healthy fish and two very spoilt happy cats. They were well groomed, well fed and had developed a great relationship with Elizabeth. Our very shy cat was even sleeping on her bed, and he gave us the cold shoulder for a couple of days, which only happens when he has been happy and content with his carer
Elizabeth is a warm, lovely person, who is very responsible and very easy to get along with. Her friendly personality, we are sure has aided her a great deal with her solo travels around the world, with people she has met, and have warmed to her straight away. Many of those people have trusted her into their homes and offered her beds for a night. Elizabeth is extremely trustworthy and we felt happy leaving our home and pets in her care as soon as we first talked with her. She also communicated with us on a regular basis, via txt and phone calls to keep us updated on everything, and to ask any questions she had regarding anything she wasn't sure of.
Our holiday was very enjoyable knowing that our home and pets were in good safe hands.
We highly recommend Elizabeth as a house sitter and would love her back to housesit again in the future.

Elizabeth and Paul house and pet sat for us for 2 weeks over Christmas and new year. We have 5 cats and a hamster so it wasn't a simple task they were given and all I can think of to say is wow!!! I am so grateful for everything they did while they were in our house. The house was immaculate both inside and out and I'm ashamed to say far cleaner than we left it. The cats (who are all indoor cats) were healthy and happy as was our hamster. They are both lovely people to deal with and kept me updated on everything via messages while we were away.
I wouldn't hesitate to ask them back again and hope very much that they may agree to housesit again for us one day in the future.

Liz & Paul looked after our house together with two dogs, three cats and twenty chickens in January 2016 for two weeks. We must say that they did a terrific job. Not only were all the animals extremely contented when we returned, but the house was very clean, the long drive had been swept, wood for the stove had been brought in, etc. etc. They also kept us up to date with e-mails. Elizabeth is a trustworthy, conscientious and very pleasant housesitter. I would definitely recommend her. I was quite happy to leave my house and cats/guinea pig in her hands knowing that everything would be well looked after. She is very easy to communicate with for making arrangements, and reliable too as she does what she says she will do. I was lucky enough to be able to meet Elizabeth a couple of weeks before she came to do the actual housesit, but if you are considering having her to look after your home/pets and cannot do this, rest assured that you will be leaving everything in a safe and experienced pair of hands.

Elizabeth house sat and looked after our dog for 2 weeks in August 2016. I simply cannot recommend her highly enough and hope that she will always house sit for us in the future. From our first contact Elizabeth was extremely reliable and easy to communicate with. I was lucky enough to meet her before I left for holiday and felt very reassured that I was leaving my home and my precious pooch in a very safe and caring pair of hands. While we were away Elizabeth sent us messages and lovely photos of our dog, reassuring us that all was well and happy at home. I had not really expected Elizabeth to tend to the garden (because it was in such a shambolic mess!) but on our return I was absolutely thrilled to find that she has tidied up the garden, cut the grass and made it look a million times better than when we left. We live in a small, close-knit village and since I have got home all my neighbours have commented on how delightful Elizabeth was and how much they enjoyed seeing her around the village and taking part in the community life. Thank you so much Elizabeth for everything you have done over the past couple of weeks. It was such a pleasure to meet you and you are welcome in our home anytime you are passing on your travels. Elizabeth O Connor did a housesit for us in the Hemel Hempstead area for two weeks during September 2016. We have had quite a few house sitters over the years and have to say that Elizabeth was the best sitter we have ever had. She is a great communicator and sent us regular updates on how our cat was doing with some adorable pictures. This enabled us to enjoy the holiday without having to worry about the cat.
