More information about this house sitter

We are a country-loving couple with extensive experience looking after precious pets and homes.

From a wee hamster to a field of sheep (and many dogs and cats in between) we have looked after many furry loved ones over the years. We have lots of experience with horses and ponies too (Alice grew up with horses).

We are gentle souls; we spend our days reading, writing and drawing, and we love getting to know new animal friends and exploring new neighbourhoods on long walks with the dogs. We will make sure your pets feel loved and cared for in your absence.

We are capable and practical, and can do gardening and housework, regular maintenance or special tasks, just let us know. Our backgrounds as an artist and a museum curator mean we are careful and have excellent attention to detail. We are good communicators when you need to be in touch, but we won’t bother you with unnecessary trifles. We will ensure everything is as you like it, so you can return from your travels with no worries.

We are currently based in Edinburgh and would prefer rural house sitting in Scotland or Northumberland.
