I am a retired gentleman, although still very fit (I teach occasional Tai Chi classes), For many years, I worked as a Community Development Worker and have good communication and organisational skills.

I now have the luxury of few commitments (except, of course, to my grandkids) and so am looking for more opportunities to travel and experience new places.

I have a long and genuine love of animals and believe they can be our greatest teachers of how to live compassionately and harmoniously.
I have owned dogs (Irish Setters, Munsterlander and two rescue Lab cross) over the years and have also enjoyed many years of living with cats.
I have experience of looking after hens, ducks, donkeys and Breton sheep too for friends with a smallholding in Brittany while they travelled.
I am happy to groom and give medication when necessary.

I am a quiet, tidy and respectful person who understands the importance of looking after another person's home and making connections with both the animals and their owners.

I am a non-smoker. I have my own car.
