Hello! I am a 34 year-old returnee to the UK after seven years living and working in my birth country, Canada. I had previously lived and worked in the UK from 11 to 27. My first career was in politics, then it veered into craft beer sales and marketing, but the election call has convinced me that Westminster needs my left leaning optimism again :)

I grew up with cats and dogs and will be leaving my hilarious, clever and, arguably, troubled cat Charlie with my mother. Hooking up with a household who need a cat looked after would be a bonus. I think they are awesome animals.

My plan is to housesit to save cash while I get resettled in London and find work for an MP or with a local constituency.

I am well educated, clean, respectful of people's space and experienced in housesitting, including caring for cats, dogs, fish, plants and garden upkeep.

I'm also reasonably handy. Reasonable being the operative word. My dad is a mechanic and I can use YouTube, so I will use my best judgement in any housemergency.

I have references from employers, ex house owner for who I sat and personal references/Facebook to add personal link.
