Caring for animals is both instinct and calling. I once believed I was purely a dog person — until my beloved cat Shadow shared fourteen years of life, travel, and resilience with me. Since then, I’ve understood that devotion transcends species. I am, simply, an Animal Person.

I offer steady presence rather than quick check-ins. I stay home, keep routines intact, notice subtle changes, and give affection freely — whether that means energetic play, gentle grooming, medication, or quiet companionship.

Over three decades, I’ve cared for:

• Dogs of every size and temperament
• Cats, including seniors and medical care
• Horses — including farm, training, and stable management
• Birds, reptiles, and small exotics
• Farm animals including hens, goats, pigs, and cattle

I also bring a background in innkeeping and property stewardship, so homes are kept tidy, respected, and secure.
