More information about this house sitter

I am a mature retired English teacher whose children live in Australia but I also have relatives still in the UK. I love to spend a few months in Britain every year, whenever I can, and housesitting is an ideal way to explore new places and be close enough to see old friends and relatives without having to sleep on their couch. I am a responsible home owner and also internet savvy so will keep up to date with all your domestic needs, taking care of animals and gardens, post etc.

I have been house sitting for a few years now and taken care of many cats and dogs, old and young, plus chickens, birds and fish. I don't think I am much good at big bouncy dogs who need loads of exercise though. And no good at horses either. :-)

I write Kindle books as a hobby so keep myself busy. I also love to cook and meet local people wherever I am.
