I'm Megan and I am hugely excited to come to England or Wales to look after your house or flat and pets.

I know and love the UK and was born in Lancashire but can't afford both airfare from Australia and accommodation costs and I'm hoping that house sitting will solve my problem and yours. My son is currently working in London so any opportunity to see him is greatly appreciated.

I am a reliable, sensible person with a love of books, films, theatre, galleries, museums, walks, history, vegetarian food, tea and cats. I love dogs too of course and would love to walk yours and explore new territories.

A recent passion is researching family history and my ancestors were all from England and Wales. It would be brilliant to travel to some of the areas where past relatives lived. Also advantageous is being in closer proximity to the National Archives in London where I could further my research more easily.

I work in a busy secondary school here in Melbourne and have done so for fifteen years. I live with my husband and have a daughter close by. I also have Angus and Mindy, two wonderful cats. I have owned dogs and cats all my life and hate being without them.

My family is used to me disappearing on travel adventures! As I write this in January I have just come back from my first visit to London since Covid began. The two year wait was almost unbearable. It was brilliant to rediscover old haunts, find new ones, and enjoy time with relatives and friends.

My availability is dictated by the Victorian school holidays. In 2022 these are June 25th to July 10, September 17 until October 2nd and December 21 through to late January 2023. I am owed months of long service leave however and can certainly add on to any period to suit your needs. I'm perfect for caring for your pets over the Christmas and New Year period.

I can provide as many references as you might require, as a professional employee, a house sitter, an animal lover and a friend.
