Hello, we are Stephen & Jackie and we've been married for 37 years (family grown and flown now). Stephen retired a couple of years ago and I joined him recently. Stephen worked as a company director for many years and then part-time for a government department before fully retiring. I worked most of my career for a national Banking group followed by 10 years in the NHS when we relocated to Lincolnshire. Last year we moved from Lincolnshire and we are currently renting a house in West Norfolk but will be moving to our own home near Holt sometime later this year.

We both LOVE dogs and have a rescue Labrador of our own, she is a beautiful well behaved loveable girl (Madge) who was sadly used for breeding then dumped and taken in by a rescue centre. We love going on dog walks with her especially on the Royal Sandringham Estate, which's her nearby favourite place. She is excellent with other dogs and not really fazed by anything. Typical of her breed, she loves food, sleeps a lot, and enjoys lying by our feet watching the world go by - she deserves it! We've been looking to house/dog sit for some time but obviously in recent times events took over which prevented us from doing so. We now have plenty of time on our hands that allow us to do so and hopefully, life is getting back to normal and allowing us all to travel a little more freely.
We are both kind and caring, honest and reliable. We are very respectful of our home and others people's possessions too. We are very clean, tidy and well organised and promise to look after your home as if it was our own leaving it just as you left it. Understandably, looking after someone's home is a huge responsibility and we will undertake the assignment and encompass additional necessary tasks such as gardening, watering, and general chores. We are very mindful that many animals have specific needs due to medical issues or their age. In fact, our own dog had to have a knee operation within months of us getting her which required a long and careful recovery so we understand how important these complexities are. We will gladly look after other types of pets, we just need a clear brief on what is required while you are away. We'd also be more than happy to keep you in the loop while you are away with photos and updates etc, I know if it was me, I would like them for peace of mind. However, should you just wish to be left alone to relax naturally we'd only contact you in the unlikely event of an emergency.

We are both fit and healthy (double jabbed) and energetic for our age, we are both NON SMOKERS and always have been but we are partial to an odd glass of red wine while relaxing. If you feel we would like to know more about us or ask more questions do please get in touch we'd love to hear from you. If you are not too far away we'd be happy to come and meet you first and get to know one another as we understand it's a huge commitment entrusting your home and precious loved animals into our care.
