More information about this house sitter

I have spent most of my working life as a university lecturer, being fortunate enough to manage and deliver academic programmes both in the UK and within international contexts.

I split my time between delivering specific modules and short courses within a number of educational/training appointments, and enjoying the freedom of semi-retirement.

I am a keen learner across a wide range of topics including programming, design and craft, music and languages, and other shorter term interests.

As a lifelong city/town dweller I really appreciate getting away from the hustle and bustle and to be close to nature. I am keen to maintain a certain fitness level through cycling, regular gym classes and (mostly) healthy eating.

I am married with grown up children, though for house sitting purposes I generally attend alone.
