Hi, we are Shannon and Jessica!
We have both moved home to the United Kingdom after living in New Zealand.
Shannon is a Graphic Designer and works remotely whilst Jessica is a fully qualified primary school teacher who is currently setting up an online business helping children improve their literacy.
Both of us see house sitting as an incredible opportunity to spend time with our favourite things in the world- ANIMALS! It also allows us to explore the UK again whilst we decide where to permanently settle down.

We have been together for three years, we do not smoke and we aren't heavy drinkers. Although, we do enjoy a glass of quality prosecco or New Zealand Pinot Gris on a Saturday evening!

Both of us are avid animal lovers. Shannon volunteered in Thailand for a dog rescue centre whilst teaching English as a second language. Shannon has also co-parented her best friend's dog Kiki, a big black labrador, who she utterly adores...even though he tries to guzzle EVERYTHING including her socks!

Jessica grew up with cats in the home. Jessica hand-reared her late cat Mika from 3 weeks old after the kittens were abandoned by their mother. Mika was a feisty cat but was always(usually) a softie for Jessie. Jessica looked after four cats. Mika had thyroid issues which meant daily medication so is comfortable giving medication to furry friends. Mika was also fussy...so Jessica is used to having to be particular at feeding time too. Jessica is passionate about education and is looking forward to setting up a business to help children and their parents. Home sitting will allow her the freedom to get stuck in creating those business plans!

Both of us have house sat several times. A couple of our favourites are
1. Three months for a family who had two kittens, including some light gardening.
2. A long weekend for a family with an old and deaf cocker spaniel
3. A month stay looking after an English Bulldog with breathing problems.

Both of us keep a clean and tidy home and enjoy staying in places that are like that too! We are both avid readers and enjoy long walks, especially if they end with a Sunday roast in a local pub with a furry friend close by.
