More information about this house sitter

We are Britt, john and our adult daughter Libby, who is taking a year out of university. She has been on a few house sits with us previously and is an absolute animal lover like we are. She shares the house chores with us and the care for the pets that we have the pleasure of looking after and getting to know. Out of the 3 of us she takes real pleasure in attending to plants and the watering of gardens.

All 3 of us have been fully vaccinated, 3 times for Covid 19 and carry vaccination cards.

My husband John is fantastic at fixing things around the house should they go unexpectedly wrong. We live a fairly quiet life on an apple orchard in the Uk and like to hang out at home reading and relaxing. We are responsible and honest and I have an advanced police clearance check. We have now joined this website as we are looking for very long term house sits in the UK.

"Britt and John were the most perfect house-sitters and pet-minders we could have hoped for. Upon our return from a three-week holiday, we found our home to be exactly as we left it, actually in better shape, as John had done some maintenance and repair work. They quickly adjusted themselves to the home's quirks and special demands, and never seemed at a loss on how to do anything. Most importantly, Britt and John "adopted" our dog in the most loving and sensitive ways, taking him with them on day trips, catering to his needs, and showing him the attention and affection that he is used to. (He's still missing them.) Britt and John sent us daily reports, often accompanied by photos. Anyone considering Britt and John as house-sitters or pet-minders should not hesitate; they are the best.
