Hi ,Im Jan aka .I worked for many years as an animal welfare officer/dog warden for my local authority.I now run a small pet/house sitting business in Hampshire,just to keep me busy :). I have owned pets all my life and seem to have a genuine affinity with animals ,we just get on. I love all animals and am always willing to learn, I have sat for a few chickens ,but not horses .
Hobbies and past times include, music,sadly not playing..yet; being outdoors wandering (my favourite) , poetry ,reading and writing; cooking, meeting people,visiting places.

I'm a widow , have 2 grown sons and 1 gorgeous grandson.

I am looking for a 'busmans' holiday :) preferably for 2 weeks or longer .
I have references, a full DBS, insurance to cover me whilst in your home and with your pets, basic pet first aid and a sensible head .
