About this house sitting position in Ashdown Forest

We live in a 3 bed house on the edge of Ashdown Forest in Crowborough. We are located in a quiet traffic free position and adjoining a large nature reserve and countryside. This is within the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty in a semi rural local. Crowborough provides a good selection of shopping and leisure facilities, two golf courses and a pub, the Boars Head, is within walking distance. The Spa Town of Tunbridge Wells with its theatres, shopping and leisure complex is 7 miles and accessed by bus or car, and the coastal towns of Eastbourne and Brighton are approximately 45 minutes by car. Crowborough mainline train station offers services to London in one hour. The bus service is within walking distance and the train station is 3 minutes by car. There are numerous places of interest to visit including the Llama Park, Hartfield (home of Winnie the Pooh) with many beautiful walks in the countryside, and organic produce to buy.

We have 4 older independent outdoor cats, who have access to the house through a cat flap. They are mother and 3 siblings and are closely bonded. They are out a lot when the weather is nice in the garden or exploring but come in for food and cuddles. We also have 3 indoor cats who are separately bonded and live upstairs with access 2 bedrooms. Our cats came from two separate households hence different living arrangements. We also have 2 outdoor rabbits who have purpose built homes on the decking in the back garden. We have a small but comfortable back garden with decking area, pond and comfortable seating together with pots and a small lawn. We have a BBQ and a relaxing environment being surrounded by trees and nature.
The main tasks for our sitter/s would be to feed our outdoor cats once or twice daily, feed our indoor cats and change litter and give them some company when you are in! Also to feed rabbits and give water daily. The fish will only need to be fed a few times.

Our home has been recently renovated and is comfortably furnished with an open plan style downstairs. Our kitchen has all usual amenities with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. We have a downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom and toilet. We have 2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom. We feel our home offers a peaceful and tranquil environment to relax and is comfortably furnished with tv, WiFi and all usual amenities. There is off street parking close to the house. There is a comfortable double bedroom for sitters with tv. The indoor cats can be separated from the bedroom or if you want company they can stay in both rooms!
