Wonderful village life, only a few miles from a castle

Home is a bungalow in a village and I walk down the canal every day with a nice park and canal beautiful country side is only 5 minutes away.
We have 2 wonderful ( well barmy) border collie dogs and one lazy cat.
Beautiful walks right on the doorstep village shopping 10 minute walk away with a major shopping town 10 minutes by car
