About this house sitting position in Borough Green

We have a beautiful, rural 17th Century cottage with an extensive (managed) garden only one mile from the nearest town, with rail links to London.

Housesitters are primarily needed to ensure the house is secure and lived in, and will need to reside on the premises overnight. You will generally look after the house, retain mail, liaise with contractors undertaking minor unintrusive works etc.

Depending on your skills, might you be able to carry out some additional jobs such as DIY?

Sitters provide their own food etc but we will cover all other household bills (broadband included).

The house is very comfortable in a beautiful setting with wifi, central heating, washing machine and a baby grand piano. There are no pets but the abundance of wildlife in the garden is amazing and we have remarkably dark skies considering we are so close to London.

Couples are preferred as the property is a little isolated. You would probably need a car, though not essential, or we could arrange use of a car if required (at your expense) We can also accommodate a caravan. No smokers please. No children please but pets considered.
