Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m looking for a house sitter from 26th December to 2nd January.

I have an 8-month-old cat named Hades. He’s a friendly little guy who loves company and I’d love for him to have someone caring around while I’m away.

My home is in Curbridge, a peaceful new-build area near Whiteley, Botley, and Hedge End, about 9 miles (20 minutes by car) from Southampton city centre. It’s a quiet and relaxing space, perfect for anyone looking for a tranquil environment.

The best way to get here and around is by car. While there are train stations nearby - Botley being the closest - you’d still need a car or an Uber (about £15 from Hedge End station, a 12-minute ride) to reach the house. A dedicated car parking space is available for your convenience.

The house itself is a semi-detached property with a lovely garden. On the ground floor, there’s a living room and kitchen, while the first floor has the bedrooms. You’ll have access to a quiet guest bedroom with a private bathroom. The bedroom features a large sofa bed that easily converts into a king-size bed for a comfortable stay. I also work from home, so the house has excellent Wi-Fi and a home office space.

For shopping, Whiteley Shopping Centre is just 1.9 miles away (Tesco, M&S food hall), while larger stores like big M&S and Sainsbury’s are in Hedge End, about 3 miles away. If you enjoy a balance of tranquility and easy access to amenities, this is a great location. Both central Southampton and Portsmouth are just 25 minutes away by car.
