We live on the outskirts of Gretna and Gretna Green. These are beautiful places, ideal for tourists to sample a taste of Scotland. We are situated in a small, quiet village. Less than a 5minute drive from the coast for beautiful walks. We are on a main bus route with a couple of buses per hour into nearby towns and the city of Carlisle.
Our detached family home has beautiful views across the fields. We have a garden with a raised decked area which is beautiful to relax on a sunny day.
Our home comes with our 2 dogs, a lively 4 year old French Bulldog and a 10 year old Bichon Frise. We also have an indoor adorable cat.
Our requirements for house sitters would be to leave the property as you find it, feed the animals and walk our dogs at least once a day. We have an enclosed garden where the dogs can be let out.
We do not require our house sitters to stay at home all day, everyday. We work full time so they are used to being left for several hours so if you wanted to pop into neaby towns and cities for the day, this would not be a problem.
There are many beautiful walks, golf courses and parks nearby. Large supermarkets are a 10 minute drive. We have bakers, butchers, small grocery shops and an outlet village 5minute drive or 5 minute bus ride away. Read more...
