We live in a very pretty part of North West Essex, ideal for exploring into Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. The location is rural, about 10 minutes walk from the nearest village (where there is a very nice pub). Tescos, Aldi etc about 10 mins away in the car. Would suit someone looking for peace and quiet and the ability to go on lovely walks /cycling straight from the house. Sitter(s) would be required to keep the house clean and tidy and look after 1 dog and 2 cats. Our dog, a female labrador is very easy going. She just loves human company. Her routine after breakfast is about an hours walk from the house, She gets another shorter walk late afternoon. She can be left at home for a few hours each day but also loves trips in the car. We have 2 cats which need fed twice daily. They can come and go through a cat flap but I like to have them all in at night. For this there is a litter tray which needs cleaned as required. Potential house sitters need to be happy being in a rural, relatively isolated location. There are neighbours around but all a field away. The dog has medication for epilepsy which needs to be administered twice a day. Read more...
