About this house sitting position in Hirwaun

I have a 5 bedroom detached house which has recently been extended with an Annexe attached where my Mum lives. There is a double and single guest room but I am happy for my bedroom to be used also. The other bedroom is an office and also there is my daughters bedroom (who is in University). Penderyn Distillery is just 2 miles outside the village for the Whiskey drinkers and depending on what you like, you have walking / hiking; the seashore and fabulous shopping all relatively close by car, as the house is the very last village before Brecon Beacons National Park and only 20 mins from Brecon; 25 mins from Swansea / Mumbles and 40 mins from Cardiff City. I have an 8 year old Labrador who is extremely friendly and loves company, who is getting too old to be put into Kennels. He's really low maintenance and happy to have a fuss made of him and fed x2 a day! He's a little territorial and we don't think he would take kindly to another dog in the house unfortunately. My mum is 85 although completely independent in her own bungalow, and is self sufficient...she normally catches a bus to Tesco every day! Although she likes to know there is someone in the main house as it's so big and she gets a little nervous completely on her own so would appreciate just a friendly hello every day. After much discussion my Mum would feel comfortable with the retired generation and no single men. The garden has not been renovated yet so nothing to do there.
