About this house sitting position in Kentish Town

We are looking for someone to generally occupy our house while we are away and to feed our two cats and hamster. As our cats can be a bit nervous we are ideally looking for a single person or a mature couple.

We are a family of four living in a quiet, friendly cul-de-sac five minutes' walk from Kentish Town tube. We have a little house with a back garden and have lovely neighbours. It's a great location - there are lots of shops nearby, Camden Market is just down the road, central London is a short tube or bus ride away and Hampstead Heath is a 15 minute walk.

Our cats - Bonnie and Max - are both 14 years old. Bonnie is very sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly. Max is more aloof but loves sitting on laps. They both have kidney disease so are on special renal food. Bonnie also has arthritis so needs medicine in her morning meal. Due to their conditions Max sometimes wees in the house and Bonnie sometimes vomits, so you would need to be happy and able to deal with that if it happens. Bonnie also uses a cat litter so that needs scooping out a couple of times a day.

Our hamster, Coco, only needs a handful of food each day. She is very sociable so likes a run-around each day, plus a bit of fresh fruit/veg. Read more...
