About this house sitting position in Kidwelly
A 27 acre smallholding with breeding pigs, two horses, chickens and a cat. We have traditional biodiverse hay meadows, wet pasture, rhôs, temperate rainforest and views over the Gwendraeth valley, 20 minutes drive from the coast and Pembrey Country Park, the National Botanic Gardens and Carmarthen.
We would need someone to feed the pigs twice daily and the horses once a day, plus letting the chickens out and putting them to bed (the coop door is on a times, this is just letting them out of their enclosure to free range), and answering the cat’s many demands to go in our out or have more kibbles. The horses live out so no stable duties are required.
We are not going away for a year, but I couldn’t not put dates in. We have no particular plans, but thought that if we could find someone we might perhaps arrange a few days away on a mutually convenient date.
