About this house sitting position in Lewes
We are looking for someone or couple to look after the house and our 2 dogs.
Our house is an old converted pub (still retains the pub facade which is protected) in the centre of the historic town of Lewes, see youtube video below. We are 10 minutes by train from Brighton and 1 hour 15 minutes by train from London Victoria. The house is 5 minutes walk from the train station, supermarket, restaurants, pubs and Lewes High St. There is a small courtyard at the rear which can be accessed from the house and from the road at the rear. The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms, an additional toilet, kitchen/dining and a TV room. There are balconies off the TV room and a first floor bedroom. The house is low maintenance (no garden) with plants just requiring watering. Resident street parking can be arranged.
Our dogs, Sybil a 3 year old dachshund and Seamus a 2 year old labrador are used to walking together either on or off the lead. They are both good natured and have good recall. There are numeous trails and parks close to the house and you can walk up on the South Downs, with specatlor walks and views accross the Sussex countryside, within 20 minutes. The are fed twice a day and walked 3 times a day.
