About this house sitting position in Louth
We have a simple house within a walled garden, 5 min walk from the town of Louth, Lincolnshire, in a quiet area surrounded by nature. We had found the perfect house sitter but an emergency has come up so now we are looking for someone again. We really hope someone out there can help!
We are looking for someone to arrive on the 11th Aug (or before) and stay till the end of Sept. The 12-16th of Aug will include our three, gentle and old pugs, they are very precious and need fuss and treats on the bed etc. They are no trouble will sleep after a small adventure and time in the garden. This could be separate and our most urgent right now.
We will then be home for a few days and away for about one month. In the three days in-between we thought we could show you how the house runs and get what you need etc.
There is a wildlife pond that will require gentle maintenance and we have a fish pond, the little guys need feeding twice a day, and occasionally cleaning debris and adding a little water.
We have an array of garden birds and would like someone to be able to maintain our standards of feeding and maintain the gardens with a little pruning and watering etc. And potentially water a couple of house plants.
It is a great place if you want peace and to simply relax or work online, as we have great internet and the office is a lovely space.
The home also has an annex and a herbal/nutrition clinic. Guests on Airbnb arrive (only a couple of weekends), and if you want to make this space for the guests you can be paid (if not a cleaner is outsourced).
We are ideally looking for someone that loves nature and will care for our inhabitants (we have frogs, toads, squirrels, blue tit families, blackbird families and occasionally a hedghog. It is a scheduled spot, and if setting outside in the evening with a chimnea is your thing, then we are your place!
