About this house sitting position in Lower Layham

We live in a charming and welcoming period cottage set in an idyllically peaceful and picturesque location in rural Suffolk. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large Kitchen/Diner, Dining Room, Living Room, Utility Room in the main house and outside there is a separate self-contained annexe with Bedroom and a separate fully equipped office with High Speed Broadband etc. You'll have use of the entire Cottage and Office. Outside the surrounding garden offers an array of terrific seating and entertaining areas where you can sit and watch the expansive skies Suffolk is renowned for, surrounded by well-stocked borders and a variety of trees. It importantly also provides a great area for the Alfie (the dog), Neville and Seamus (the cats) to run around and sun bathe themselves!

We are surrounded by breathtaking countryside that inspired 18th Century artists, Constable and Gainsborough. There are many picturesque walks and cycle rides direct from our doorstep. In the village itself there is a Pub serving delicious Sunday Roasts and a Church. Only a stones throw away (5 mins by Car, 10 mins Cycling or 30 mins walk), is the ancient market town of Hadleigh with it’s ecletic mix of shops, services, restaurants, cafes, pubs and a wonderful Market on Fridays offering a terrific range of produce and a pop-up Coffee Shop. We are only a 30 min driveaway from the glorious Suffolk Coast of Old Felixstowe where we have a Beach Hut that is available for your use. Suffolk forms part of the East Anglia region, just over an hours train/road journey from London. The County boasts a picturesque coastline, scenic countryside, riddled with quintessential English Inns, mesmerising historic sites…basically, there is lots to see, do and enjoy!

In our absence we need our beloved pets and house looking after. Feeding all pets twice a day, taking Alfie our dog out for a walk once a day, keeping the house clean and tidy.
