About this house sitting position in Lower Seagry

We have two small dogs; Ruby is mostly a pug and, at 6 years old, would happily lie in the sun and not be bothered by energetic sports such as walkies. However, we also have Jeff; a 16month old border terrier who loves walkies and helps keep us all (including Ruby) fit and healthy. The dogs are used to 2 long walks; after breakfast and again after supper. There's plenty of beautiful countryside to explore right on the door step and short car journeys will take you to some of the most picturesque areas of the Cotswolds, so you will be spoiled for choice as far as those walkies go. Both dogs walk well on the lead, and, whenever safe to do so, can be let off as they have good recall too. Lunch time walks are optional as the garden will do just as it does at bedtime. Daisy the cat is around 15 years old, a rescue cat who is pretty deaf these days and very easy going. A big fan of Dreamies, she also likes to go out into the garden when the sun shines. It's simply a matter of keeping Daisy company, feeding her morning and night, and tending to her litter tray as required.
Our cottage is one of three detached homes with their own gardens in a quiet little corner of Wiltshire. There's a guest bedroom with small double bed, and private bathroom with shower over the bath. The house is mainly electric with oil fired central heating. We have broadband internet access and Freeview TV. We share the driveway with our neighbours but there is plenty parking. Our garden is quiet, pretty and private. The road outside runs from Little Somerford through Great Somerford and Lower Seagry and on to Sutton Benger, and is usually quiet. We are surrounded by fields, livestock and some great walks, and close enough to the M4 to offer great links to Swindon, Bath and Bristol. Cirencester is less than 30 mins away. From Chippenham you can catch a train and be in Bath within 20 minutes. Malmesbury is our closest town, a Cotswolds market town where the first king of all England, King Athelstan, was crowned in 927. There is an ancient abbey here as well as the Abbey Gardens which are open to the public. There are also some very nice pubs offering a range of great food, a Waitrose and Co-op as well as a great variety of independent shops. There is also a leisure centre with pool.
