Nestled in the Shropshire Hills in an AONB (Area of outstanding Natural Beauty), Boot Oak farm is now devoted to rescue animals of all ages. With hens scratching in the garden and pigs snuffling in the orchard, it's the perfect place for animals and humans alike.
The animals are free to roam in 7 acres, though we do try to make our own hay in the summer. The ponies and pigs live outside so mucking out is minimal . The main duties are feeding and grooming, walking the dogs and keeping the place tidy. The dogs were rescued in India, some of the pigs in France and the rest from around the UK. They all have a story to tel. The ponies are disabled and therefore need no exercise.
The poly tunnel needs a watering and the garden is always waiting for any enthusiast to contribute
