About this house sitting position in Northamptonshire
Very comfortable detached house with large private garden surrounded by trees. 5 mins walk away from supermarkets, shops, chemists, cafes & numerous takeaways. Bus stop almost opposite. Beautiful countryside & Gardens only 10 to 20 mins drive including Althorp House - childhood home of Princess Diana. We are looking for a non smoker, caring responsible lady who loves all animals & has experience in taking care of them. We have 2 cats part Ragdoll one of whom is very shy so needs someone who loves cats is calm & has patience. Will need feeding, cleaning out litter tray daily & if possible - one is longer haired, grooming once a week.
3 indoor guinea pigs, need feeding & cleaning out also medicating one piggy once a day.
2 Rabbits live in outdoor building, need daily feeding, cleaning out litter trays ,sweeping up etc & happy to handle bunnies so can have outside exercise & cuddles & check for flystrike. Brush if moulting.
Also have few chickens & cockerel & white fantail pigeons. They will need feeding, only MINIMAL cleaning consisting of scraping off droppings off food station & goes without saying all outdoor pets need to be safely shut in each eve. Also have a large fishpond, daily feeding & feed the wild birds. Must also mention that at present we have some wild honey bees living in the facia of the out building so on warm days they can get rather busy! So needs to be someone who doesn't mind that.
Would need plants watering & home kept clean.
We do have 2 dogs but they will be coming with us. As you can see we have quite a menagerie! We have been let down in the past very badly with pet sitter's plus are unable to afford agency's so hope that there is someone trustworthy who wants to spend time in our lovely home & garden & will take good care of & love our fur babies so we can get a much needed holiday ( my husband died two yrs ago this coming April & haven't been away for 3 yrs )
