Hi,

My name is Neil and I am a single bloke from North East Scotland. I am owned by two gorgeous Tuxedo sisters and will be having a very rare holiday for around three weeks from early April. It would be wonderful to find a patient, caring and keen single or couple who would be willing to come and stay in my home and provide all the care and cuddles my two fluffs may be in need of.

They were both rescued, quite by accident, when the RSPCA were rescuing some abused horses from a farm and found my two and their siblings living in terrible conditions. Sadly, it affected them psychologically and the little one especially is very nervous of anything new and certainly anyone new. She will come around and loves a curl up and a snooze on my lap of an evening. It may take a little bit of time and some coaxing with Dreamies or Lik-e-Lix! Octavia is slightly bolder and spends most of her day on my lap in the office, crammed under the desk and generally supervising me. At other times, she will either by sunning herself on my bed or perched on the back of the sofa, keeping an eye on the neighbours. They are my joy.

They have cat-flaps through which they exit into the garden whenever the mood so takes them and Octavia especially enjoys heading through the hedge and into the fields beyond. Occasionally, she will bring me a wee gift - however they are both middle aged now so not as inclined to chase the field mice as they used to be. Nonetheless, I do have two humane traps in the house and every once in a while, a wee squeaker will be in residence and need releasing. It is pretty rare though.

Antonia is quite a fussy eater and has gone through every kind of cat food known to humankind. She loves her lunchtime treats (Dreamies or Felix), however getting her to eat her breakfast or tea can be more difficult. Nonetheless, when she is ready, she will eat - even if it seems as if she goes more than a day on a basically empty stomach. She is lighter than a handful of feathers though (less than 2kg) so it takes very little to satiate her hunger. Octavia prefers dry food so comes and goes to a bowl with Whiska's or Lidl own-label dry food whenever she fancies.

My home is pretty neat and tidy (I think) and I have masses of books so you will not be short of things to read! I have a smart TV in the living room and another in the bedroom with a basic Sky Cube which gives a wide choice of viewing options. My home is in a small cul-de-sac in a wee village outside of Elgin where I am fortunate to have wonderful neighbours. If you wish, I shall be glad to pass on your details to them all so they can look out for you and ensure you are OK during your time here. I have a good sized lawn at the back and front and a small one to the side, which I shall be overseeding in the coming weeks as the grass is not in the best condition. I also love my pots and planters and hanging baskets which I shall buy as plugs this year rather than propagating from seeds as I normally would. I am happy to get them once I am back unless you were inclined to do some planting and gardening yourself - I certainly would not object - however that is not part of what I am looking for necessarily. If you are happy to look after my house and look after my fluffs; then I could not be happier.
